Spice Magic are aiming to demystify Indian cuisine through there range of easy to understand books, products and demonstrations.
Your Challenge is to develop a strategy to market their exciting new product!
At Spice Magic we aim to demystify Indian cuisine through our range of easy to understand books and demonstrations.
Spice Magic was founded by celebrated motivational speaker and Indian cuisine expert Pinky Lilani OBE to offer a fresh approach to learning and fun. With a novel range of offerings including Corporate Seminars, Motivational Speeches and Private Parties alongside an expanding range of books and cooking related products, Spice Magic is looking to bring the delights of Indian Cuisine into our homes.
Our challenge to you is to help Spice Magic to increase their sales.
We would like you to devise a marketing strategy that can be used to promote Spice Magic’s products. We would like to combine Pinky’s new book Coriander...makes the difference with a Gift-wrapped Spice Box to create the perfect gift for anyone wanting to get into Indian Cuisine.
Suggested Ways to Complete the Challenge
How you approach this challenge is completely up to you, but we thought we’d suggest some potential pointers if you are stuck with how to proceed.
We’d suggest that a first stop would be http://www.spicemagic.com/bazaar.html where you can find both the products (though they are not advertised separately not together as one gift). After that the direction you go is completely up to you.
How will you promote the items? Will you take your inspiration from existing food related products marketed under the names of celebrity chefs such as Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsey?
Or will you “think outside the box” by considering how other product groups are marketed? Can you find that spark that will really showcase this campaign in the world of Mobile Phones, Cars or Music?
Finally, can you add that final finishing touch by suggesting that the gift is accompanied by a demonstration either online, in an enclosed DVD or perhaps in person.
The choice is yours!
